Introduction

Powerlifting/strongman are considered a hardcore form of fitness. This workout requires explosive movements that involve maximal strength and power. These exercises include deadlights, snatches, cleans, jerks, hangs, lowers, lifts, presses, pull-ups, rows, squats, presses, military press, bench press, clean and jerk, squat, snatch, and total work capacity (TWC). These exercises focus on building upper body strength and endurance. People who specialize in strongmen often spend years developing their physique and strength.
