Losing fat requires so much effort, so many ways and it is definitely not only possible to lose an entire pound of body fat in three weeks but it also becomes very challenging. Here are some tips to help you get started.
1.) Diet
This is the most important thing first. If you’re going to lose fat, then you must eat healthy food and do lots of different exercises to make sure your diet has nothing to do with fat loss. And yes I know that all nutritionists agree that whole grains are great for burning calories but sometimes if we have diets that include a lot of carbohydrates, they may cause you to gain weight because it causes more calories than necessary. That’s why you need to choose foods with lots of fiber (think beans) and high protein. Also low fats. Make sure you drink plenty of water and clean your urine regularly. You should also drink lots of liquids such as coconut oil, soy, and honey. All these will keep your body hydrated. So you won’t feel hungry constantly.
2.) Exercise
If you want to lose muscle in your body first and then you know you need to lose fat, then you must exercise for at least 30 minutes daily. It is a good idea to train on free workouts like Pilates or body yoga. Those who don’t have access to these online classes can start by doing it from home. Like when you work out at home, even just getting up to go outside will do wonders for your energy levels. After a few moments walking and jogging you’ll feel refreshed. This way you can jump back into the gym sooner and move up in class. Not only this, it is one of the best things that come with starting your exercise career. With being able to learn how to run a marathon from scratch you can now be a professional race runner. Not only is running great fun and engaging, but it will improve your physique and increase your stamina. Do your trial run to see what kind of results you observe. But be aware of a risk element. Too frequently you might end up hurting your lungs and heart. And of course, not all runners are lucky with their health. Because they only take part in short races but when they compete in long ones they are always injured in the last one. But that’s something you must avoid in both cases if you want to win.
3.) Mindfulness
You must try to find time for yourself and your family members. Even though you might have a busy schedule, time in which to clear out of sight or enjoy some peace. Be mindful of who is around you, your environment, who is watching you. As we age, our mind gets tired. Our minds get frazzled. They are the last things we think about. We are the last people we want to be dealing with. When my grandma was facing cancer she got depressed and her anxiety increased dramatically. She would say “I’ll never be able to run again”. We have no control over that. Therefore, it is very important to develop mindfulness when dealing with everything you can. Meditation is one such practice. There are countless YouTube tutorials you can follow on how to achieve this goal. And there are a ton of other things that you can do.
4.) Recovery
As said before, losing fat doesn't work perfectly without taking care of your diet, exercising, staying mindful of what's happening in your life, paying attention to your body and its needs. That means recovery is one of the top priorities. Recovery after a big weight loss can take days, weeks, or maybe months depending on how to fit that person is. Everyone knows how important it is to take a vacation after a hard day’s training. The vacation helps relax and rejuvenate. If someone is not ready for relaxation, rest can give similar benefits. Just like having an icebox full of food after a strenuous workout, relaxation after it will do wonders for your body. Your mind is tired after a tough workout and if you just step away for a week or two you can get an immediate impact. This means while looking for ways to get back to your normal activities, you still need to spend some time on the fitness level. Plus you have to be realistic about what you are willing to do to get back to your routine. Never skip working out at night because you are afraid of suffering a bad night’s sleep.
5.) Reduce Time To Complaint Or Stop Doing It
While all of this doesn’t matter if you aim to lose weight or your dream is to become a speed skater. Either way, getting rid of unhealthy habits can be a challenging task especially if you have been doing them way longer than needed. However, that is why it is so vital to stop complaining. Instead of focusing on losing a certain amount of weight per week, it is wiser to focus on doing whatever it is that makes you feel better. Especially if that means quitting smoking, drinking alcohol, drugs, and abusing supplements. Many times, we use our brain as a reason as to why we aren't seeing results. Don't worry! Every obstacle comes with a solution. If you are stuck, remember we are here and I guarantee we've tried every trick in the book. Besides, quit complaining and start making sure you aren't dwelling on anything. Try to focus on living healthier and take action. Don't let negativity get to you.
6.) Get Rid Of Negative Thoughts
When we lose a lot of body fat, it is easier to let negative thoughts enter our heads. Such as, "When the doctor told me that I had reached that threshold he looked at me straight in the eyes and said a simple word.. I hate myself!". What do these kinds of things do to us? How does our brain handle these negative thoughts? It makes us worry and afraid. Those worries do not lead us anywhere in the real world. Some of them can lead to depression and anxiety. By becoming less worried and negative we can prevent these emotions from affecting us.
7.) Be Consistent
It takes time and willingness to become fit. One should expect himself to lose a lot of weight within a given period. Maybe a year or two. Any time before that, it's difficult to believe we would reach that threshold. Nothing can change that. If you stay consistent and stick to a routine, they are always going to show up. And those who want to lose fat should start losing weight right now. No one wants to hold off for too long, especially when they are already feeling tired. At the same time, it doesn't mean don't take a break. Take a walk even if it takes a lot of time to see results. Taking yourself to a beach or going hiking is another great idea. Once you become used to the rhythm and lifestyle, it can take a little time of losing a large amount of weight. Regardless of how long it takes to reach your goal to lose weight if you do not start now, it's worth it. People often talk about losing weight too quickly, they don't realize the difficulty they put themselves through to achieve it. Sometimes quitting smoking or alcoholism seem impossible to break down and keep trying. Now is the time for you to stand behind what you have done so far. Focus on keeping in shape and continuing to exercise. While others might not see results immediately, even it takes a lot of time to progress. If you feel it is taking too much time we suggest you stop. Because for some exercise and discipline is a slow process. Just like weight loss and staying on track with any weight loss goals, being consistent must be part of the equation. Find something that works for your lifestyle and stick with it. Stick to it! You don't have time to complain or compare yourself to anyone on social media. Remember, you can and will set yourself apart from everyone else.
8.) Cut Out Alcohol
As we all know, alcohol is the prime source of calories. And it's okay to have alcoholic beverages. But don't let yourself overuse them. It's not healthy. Avoid them whenever possible. Since I mentioned drinking alcohol a lot it’s worth pointing out how it affects your body. Drinking alcohol too much can affect the liver and cause kidney damage. That means you are giving your body more calories than necessary. Drinkers who drink alcohol at least twice a week have higher odds of developing cirrhosis than drinkers who don't drink at all. So avoid consuming drinks like tequila or vodka. They always give you more calories than alcohol itself.
9.) Choose Healthy Food Options
When it comes to nutrition we always hear ‘eating healthier’. Well, I'm sorry this term is misleading. Healthy food options come from within each food. Not just from nutrients but also from antioxidants found in plants that give fruits their color. Carrots, bell peppers, broccoli, tomatoes, spinach, broccoli-all of these, you name them! But there are also plenty of other types of vegetables that are healthy. From those we have listed above, here are a few more examples: Eggs, Avocados, Mushrooms, Tofu, Cauliflower, Broccoli, Spinach, Red Quinoa, Kale, Coffee, Corn, Apples, and Kiwi. Yes, Kiwi! Oh, so we had a Kiwi. Let me explain. Kiwi's skin gets black from corn and goes tan after it does. When our corn crop starts to grow larger we end up eating corn. In another type of fruit called turmeric, we can see a yellow or red-colored piece of fruit called molybdenum.
